Semana Santa-a great place to go for Easter break

imageEaster celebrations are very different in Spain and a great way to get involved with local life. Every town and city has parades leading up to Good Friday with lots of families  watching the penitents walking the streets with bare feet, carrying massive religious statues and with bands playing.

Then on Easter Sunday it is the bull run in Vejer when everyone lets their hair down, tries to out run the bull (well not everyone usually just the young men) and has a few drinks to celebrate.

All a completely different experience to the UK with lunch and too many chocolate eggs.

Las Maravillas is available to rent this Easter. Why not have a different Easter this year?
