Las Maravillas, in the small hamlet of Patria, about 4km north of Vejer de la Frontera is set in spacious gardens in a peaceful country location with the most outstanding panoramic views of the countryside, local pueblos blancos (Conil, Vejer and Medina Sidonia) as well as the Atlantic coast.
Entrance to the house is through a covered porch straight into the large kitchen/diner. In the dining area there is a large oak dining table and an open fireplace. The kitchen is very well equipped with wide range of utensils, dishwasher, oven/hob, fridge freezer, juicer etc. There is a utility room with a washing machine and other domestic appliances.
The living room is tastefully decorated with a selection of wall hangings and cushions with French doors which lead out to a terrace and the swimming pool. Wi-Fi, Hi Fi and satellite TV and DVD are available.
There is one fully tiled travertine family bathroom with wc, bath and shower. There is also a large travertine tiled wet room with shower and wc. There are four spacious bedrooms. The master double bedroom has French doors out to a terrace and wonderful coastal views. There is a second double bedroom, one twin bedroom and the final bedroom has twin beds and a sofa bed (which can sleep two). The size of this bedroom makes it an excellent childrens “bunk room”.
The large enclosed gardens are an important part of the villa. They are extremely well kept and offer a number of different views and choice of locations for relaxing and dining. There is a wide selection of plants and fruit trees. Depending on the season it is possible to pick and eat fresh herbs, artichokes, lemons, figs, apricots, pomegranates and loquats. There are several terraced areas with outside dining furniture for up to 10 people, a barbecue and sun loungers for lazing by the pool. The rear terrace has external speakers connected to the Hi Fi in the living room. The pool area offers a pergola for shade during the heat of the day and the most amazing views. The enclosed front porch is an excellent breakfasting room in the cooler months. The glass panels can be opened out in the summer for an additional covered eating and relaxing area.
